The mill of Lalheue has three large rooms of character with each one its particular charm:
Room “Verrière”
of 25 m2, located under the cathedral ceiling has a magnificent view on the living room with its imposing stone fireplace of Burgundy but also on the Grosne

“Passage des moines”
The room called “passage of the monks” also located on the floor, of 35 m2, was, in the Middle Ages the place of work of the miller with the location of the millstones and the mechanism located below in the room called low.
The dismantling of the mechanisms was carried out at the beginning of the 70’s by the last miller who stopped his activity.

Room “Velours”
The “velvet” room, of 30 m2 located on the ground floor, has a more muffled and feminine atmosphere. It overlooks the Grosne river and the mill yard.
